About the role

ROLE SUMMARY

With the successful launch of Vyndamax for the treatment of patients with transthyretin amyloid cardiomyopathy (ATTR-CM), Pfizer is established as the global leader in the field of amyloidosis and Vyndamax is a US Commercial priority and the anchor brand for the Specialty Care. With two approved competitive entrants in the last 12 months and an additional entrant expected in early 2027, positioning Vyndamax for continued leadership is critical for Pfizer. As the brand advances through its lifecycle, sustained performance will require strong strategic planning, operational execution and disciplined investment management.

This role is a critical strategic and operational partner to Vyndamax brand leadership and requires strong analytical capabilities, financial acumen, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced competitive environment. The colleague will be expected to support the brand team with accountability across three core pillars:

1. Vyndamax Competitive Strategy and Lifecycle Management:

  • Act as Wainua Launch Lead, coordinating cross-functional competitive readiness, strategic planning and tactical execution in preparation for a Q1 2027 approval. Coordinate lifecycle planning efforts for Vyndamax including preparation for potential generic entry beginning in 2029. Support lifecycle planning team to proactively address data gaps, assess peri‑LOE scenarios, and identify opportunities to minimize patient disruption.

2. Budget Management & Forecasting:

  • Lead budget management and financial stewardship for the Vyndamax brand, including financial reporting, forecasting and OpEx management. Ensure alignment of investments to strategic priorities. Partner with finance and brand stakeholders to optimize resource allocation and phase expenses.

3. Strategy and Operations Support:

  • Provide End-to-end strategy and operations support to the brand, including close partnership with Competitive & LCM Lead and Rare Cardiac Strategy Lead. Responsibilities include development and coordination of Strategic Plan, Operating Plan and executive-level performance updates.

This role will require strong analytical ability, coupled with sufficient knowledge of business/finance analysis tools and methods. This colleague will be expected to support the brand team in an efficient and timely manner regarding finance deliverables, execution of marketing tactics and resolution of invoicing discrepancies.

This position will report to US Vyndamax Competitive & LCM Lead

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support overarching competitive strategy including acting as Wainua Competitive Launch Readiness Lead

  • Proactively monitor competitive developments, scenario plan for competitive event outcomes (e.g. outcomes of clinical trials), and evolve brand strategy to address new and emerging competitive threats

  • Map out peri LOE dynamics and potential impact scenarios. Identify and explore opportunities to minimize disruption to patients

  • Critically assess brand marketing performance across the entire marketing funnel and offer solutions to maximize investment mix

  • Inform marketing investment tradeoff decisions at a clear cadence and based on MROI performance metrics (partnering with Finance)

  • Op Plan and Tactical Plan Lead on investment breakdown and rationale, support Strategic Plan ideation sessions

  • Budget Captain with full ownership of quarterly forecasting & reconciliation process

  • Cross-functional coordination with marketing/finance/agencies on LEs, buy-ups, accruals, and invoice documentation

  • Collaborate closely with cross functional team members including Medical, Legal, Customer Insights and Analytics, PHI, Health and Economic Outcomes Research, Corporate Affairs, Communications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree required with at least 6 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or 5 years with an MBA

  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills

  • Possess strong project management skills with the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to quickly grasp and commercialize complex clinical data

  • Ability to work with and manage internal and external stakeholders and organizations as part of cross functional PFE team
