Job Description

The Production Technician is expected to produce standards quickly and accurately using weighing and pipetting techniques. All procedures will be performed according to all safety requirements. The Technician will be working with concentrated acids and Organic solvents to make trace metal products. This position may require creating or generating waste that is hazardous by regulation or that must be handled as hazardous waste regulations and company procedures require.

What you’ll do

• Prepare aqueous and/or metal-organic stock and custom products per Quality System Procedures
• Follows standard operating procedures
• Operates basic laboratory equipment
• Ability to learn chemical nomenclature, properties, and proper handling of chemicals

Qualifications

• High School diploma
• Excellent verbal and communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to use lab equipment safely and correctly
• 2 year Associates degree in a physical science (Chemistry, Biology or Physics) is preferred or 2+ years of relevant experience
