Job Summary

This is a paid 10 week internship position that can be located in Chicago, IL OR Richardson, TX

What Are Your Responsibilities?

Assisting in gathering, analyzing, maintaining, and reporting of financial and clinical data to inform management how programs deliver value; candidate will leverage computer assisted analytical and forecasting tools and techniques in preparing analysis and findings; candidate will review investments and development models to show where future return of investment (ROI) can be achieved. This position will work closely with our analyst team, spending time in various rotations supporting different operating divisions, to provide real time financial support and analysis, and to act as a trusted adviser and partner.

 

What Do You Need To Be Successful?

• Prior related internship or work experience is a plus

• Volunteerism or leadership experience is a plus

• Interest in the health insurance industry or beginning a career in Finance, or Accounting

• Demonstrated interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication\ Strong analytical skills

• Practical, developed PC skills, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

 

What Are the Requirements You Must Meet?

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business

• Graduation date between December 2024 – June 2025

• A minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0

• Availability to work 10 weeks during the summer

• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States (currently, we are not offering this position with a student visa including F1, OPT, CPT or H1B and are not accepting student work visas for this role)
