The Difference You Make:

The Associate for Treasury Data and Analytics uses advanced analytics and data tools to manage the bank's financial data, forecast liquidity, and identify risks, ensuring accurate financial reporting. The Associate supports the strategic decision-making for treasury operations by overseeing the quality of data used in one or more of the following processes: Asset-Liability Management, Interest Rate Risk, Liquidity Risk, Cash Management, Investment Portfolio Management, Cash-Management, Capital Planning and Recovery & Resolution. The incumbent provides support for complex analysis and participate in projects enhancing data processes and automation of reports.

  • Perform variance and forecasting analysis of key financial data.

  • Contribute to a strong internal control environment.

  • Ensures treasury policies, practices, and procedures are understood and followed.

  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders.

  • Oversee the data lifecycle, ensuring data quality, consistency, and accuracy.

  • Maintain and improve data control and governance framework documentation, monitor and ensure compliance.

  • Develop data requirements, review & confirm functional data definitions and ensure appropriateness of data for various use cases across the Treasury functions.

  • Actively monitor data usage to identify and capitalize on opportunities for optimization.

  • Conduct root cause analysis for issues, identify solutions and ensure remediations are in place.

  • Perform periodic conformance testing to identify and address any discrepancies or errors in the reporting process including compliance with regulatory instructions.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Engineering or equivalent field. - Required.

  • Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Engineering or equivalent field. - Preferred.

  • 5+ Years of relevant work experience in a quantitative or financial analytics role in the Banking/Financial Services Industry. - Required.

  • Experience with Excel, Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Python and other bank treasury management systems.

  • Experience using AxiomSL and Quantitative Risk Management (QRM) tools. - Preferred.

  • Experience of Complex Institution Liquidity Monitoring Report: FR-2052A. - Preferred.

  • Detail oriented with ability to research, organize and analyze financial data.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in interacting with internal stakeholders.

  • Excellent analytical, organizational and project management skills.

  • Detail oriented with ability to research, organize and analyze financial data.

Certifications:

  • Certified Financial Risk Manager (CFRM). - Preferred.

  • Certified Treasury Professional  (CTP). - Preferred.
