We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. As a Travel LPN at NCG Associates, you will have the opportunity to embark on exciting travel assignments while delivering compassionate care to patients in diverse healthcare settings.

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals
  • Monitor and assess patients' conditions, reporting any changes to the registered nurse or physician
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Provide basic nursing care, including wound dressing, catheter care, and vital sign monitoring
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and eating
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
  • Promote a clean and safe environment for patients and staff
  • Participate in patient and family education on healthcare topics and self-care techniques
  • Stay current on industry standards and maintain professional development

Requirements

  • Active and unrestricted LPN license in the state of practice
  • Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent LPN experience
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) and other healthcare software
  • Thorough understanding of nursing principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Flexibility to adapt to different healthcare environments and travel to various locations
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Willingness to comply with all travel assignments and requirements

Benefits

Assignments Location: Bethlehem, PA

Job Title: T-LPN

Pay Rate: $1,280-$1,360 @40hrs weekly

Overtime: Would be discussed during interview

Desired Start Date: ASAP
Length of assignments: 9 weeks

Guarantee Hours: 40hrs

Time Scheduled: 3:00pm-11:30pm

License Required: PA license

Certificate Required: BLS (AHA)
