Transporter Service Associate - FlexStaff

Position responsibilities: Driving Box Truck (CDL Required) to deliver sterile surgical equipment and retrieve soiled equipment. End date/length of assignment: 8 Weeks to start
  Responsibilities: 

• Assists in picking-up and delivering equipment, supplies, medications, specimens to various internal and external hospital locations
• Helps in escorting or transporting patients within facility
• Handles items in accordance with operating procedures
• Ensures timely delivery of items to appropriate locations; communicates delays in delivery / pickup time, as required
• Operates transport vehicles both on and off property
• Performs pre-trip inspection of assigned vehicle
• Maintains vehicle mileage records
• Operates all vehicles in accordance with applicable laws; fuels vehicles as necessary
• Informs management of all vehicle activities and issues

Qualifications: 

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Valid Commercial Driver's License in New York State required, plus specialized certifications as needed
• 0-1 years of relevant experience, required
