What we need: 

 

Mohawk is looking for an Operations Support Coordinator to join our Transportation team in ensuring our fleet of drivers have the resources and assistance they need while delivering our high-quality and innovative products across the country. In this role, you’ll have a variety of responsibilities which provide operations and administrative support to the transportation function, including payroll compilation, processing and verification. 

 

What you’ll do: 

 

• Be responsible for over the road (OTR) driver payroll  

• Act as liaison between operations and corporate safety teams to ensure state and federal driver requirements are current and compliant 

• Confirm all truck movements and trailer usage throughout the network  

• Prepare key performance indicator (KPI) reports for leadership and management teams 

• Coordinate daily pickups and deliveries  

• Support the operations group in proper record keeping including BOL’s, logs, etc. 

• Provide administrative support to the Senior Director of Transportation, Senior Manager of Fleet Operations and Manager of Fleet Operations to schedule meetings, travel arrangements, draft correspondences, etc. 

 

 

What you have: 

 

• High school diploma or equivalent 

• 3-5 years of experience in transportation industry with payroll responsibilities 

• Understanding of external fleet payroll systems (experience with McLeod software preferred) 

• Demonstrated proficiency in Excel and Word

• Communicating effectively with a wide range of individuals in written, oral and interpersonal form  

• Staying organized and paying attention to detail in a fast-paced environment  

• Responding quickly to employee issues with a positive and empathetic attitude  

• Prioritizing and managing assignments to achieve goals 

• Comfortably and confidently working with minimal supervision when necessary
