Job Description

Our Transportation Coordinator is a key role supporting our factories success.

Schedule
Start between 6:30 am - 8:30 am, 8 hour shift, day shift, full-time
Monday - Friday
Ability to work weekends and holidays per business needs is required

Compensation
$28.00 / hour
Annual performance bonus review eligible

Responsibilities include but are not limited to
Analyzing KPI (key performance initiative) data to understand misses and provide improvement steps
Be able to understand and execute open order process to ensure sale of product is accounted for and resolve open orders for region to include PKU
Receive raw data, interpret data in Microsoft Excel, and create Microsoft PowerPoint presentation with ability to present confidently 
Communicating with customers and carriers in a professional manner
Contacting carriers to ensure on-time delivery
Ensuring delivery appointments are received in a timely manner
Execute and report out weekly KPI's to ensure region is on track with performance
Follow up on Key Account deliveries
Manage high volume emails 300+ daily (sending, receiving, and processing is required)
Provide consistent and timely information to team and resource regarding all facets of dispatching and customer service
Set up weekly carrier calls as needed to need to address service concerns in the region
Work with drivers on docking and load tender issues and resolve to keep operations moving. 
Professionally work with carriers when recovery of a missed order is needed
Build relationships with our 3rd party logistics providers as well as other logistic departments
Travel up to 10% within the United States and Canada
Other duties as assigned by Regional Transportation Manager

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Logistics and Supply Chain preferred but not required
  • Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Experience in SAP or other ERP software preferred
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently without direct supervision
  • Communication and interpersonal that are strong in both written and verbal form
  • The ability to multitask and have strong organizational skills
