Transport Support Worker

****Average hourly rate is $17.85 (including wage, incentives, bonuses, overtime, shift differential, etc.)****

****This position requires working at least one day per weekend and some evening hours****

Position Overview: Provide transportation and supervise visitations for children in the Permanency Services Program, supporting reunification efforts and promoting child well-being. Collaborate with families, staff, and external agencies to meet program goals and ensure compliance with case plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport children and supervise family visitations.
• Document activities and prepare case files for audits.
• Educate families on parenting, child development, and essential skills.
• Provide trauma-informed emotional support and crisis intervention.
• Coordinate with public and private agencies to deliver services.
• Maintain strong relationships with families and team members.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma and 2 years of experience in child and family services.
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Work Environment:

• Moderate physical activity (e.g., lifting up to 25 lbs).
• Combination of indoor and outdoor work with occasional exposure to weather.

Accountabilities:

• Ensure effective transportation and visitation support.
• Support family reunification efforts and maintain documentation accuracy.
