Summary of Job Duties:

The Transplant Data Coordinator for Transplant Services is responsible clinical data abstraction, design, capture, management, querying and reporting. The data coordinator will effectively communicate and coordinate the flow of information among medical, ancillary, nursing, financial and other staff. The data coordinator will develop and maintain transplant statistical data and perform outcome monitoring in coordination with the Quality Director for the transplant department. The data coordinator assists in maintaining compliance with requirements of external agencies in the area of quality and accreditation surveys/inspections, specifically those related to Transplant, The Joint Commission, CMS, UNOS, and the ESRD Network.
