Transition Project Manager
The Transition Project Manager is a fully remote role that will support the Director of Training by coordinating projects and initiatives to ensure successful account transitions and operational excellence. Acting as the interim key contact for assigned accounts, this role focuses on service enhancement, operational effectiveness, compliance verification, and client relationship development.
This role will oversee staffing, scheduling, supervision, and training during the transition process, while also preparing post orders, conducting management analyses, and implementing organizational policies and procedures.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of responsible experience in the security industry and/or business management,
OR an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the job’s essential functions. - Relevant experience may be substituted for education at a ratio of one calendar year of experience for one academic year of education.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Transition Support
- Act as the primary liaison during account transitions, ensuring seamless onboarding and service delivery.
- Meet regularly with client representatives to provide updates, address issues, and support service-level changes.
- Assist in negotiating client contracts and developing strong client relationships.
- Develop and implement new operational processes to support smooth transitions.
Project Planning & Coordination
- Lead project planning to meet timelines, resource limitations, and client requirements.
- Evaluate project status, resource utilization, and implement necessary changes to ensure success.
- Compile and present financial reports, budgets, and project updates for management decision-making.
Operational Oversight
- Prepare and coordinate staffing schedules for assigned sites, ensuring proper coverage while controlling labor costs.
- Review security officer reports and inspect posts to verify compliance with post orders and client requirements.
- Ensure contract compliance with all applicable state, local, and federal regulations.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Conduct compliance verifications and specialized management studies in areas such as HR, finance, information systems, risk management, and security services.
- Monitor and evaluate service quality, initiating corrective actions as needed to ensure client satisfaction.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Supervise or provide lead direction to assigned staff and serve as a project or team leader when required.
- Work collaboratively with branch, area, and regional management, shared services teams, vendors, and external stakeholders.
- Support company initiatives, resolve operational or administrative issues, and foster teamwork and continuous improvement.
