The Role
As a Trade Operations Lead for LATAM at Kyndryl you will have expertise in Latin and Central American trade laws and export authorizations. You will be responsible for ensuring Kyndryl is compliant with all Latin and Central American trade laws and regulations, guaranteeing ethically and legally sound business operations.
Critical to your role, you will keep abreast of changes in Latin and Central American and international trade laws and regulations and communicate any changes that may impact business operations to relevant teams.
You will obtain necessary export licenses and authorizations in compliance with local and international laws for dual-use items, military/defense exports, and encrypted IT equipment, and cooperate with internal stakeholder to facilitate smooth import/export processes.
Specific activities & responsibilities will also include the following:
- Offering expert advice on international trade and export control matters to various internal teams, promoting understanding and adherence to trade compliance
- Identify and mitigate potential risks or violations of trade regulations
- Formulate and execute strategies for improving trade efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Responsible for completing regulatory review to identify new product import requirements for importers of record
- Collaborate with Kyndryl product safety and environmental teams to ensure import/in-country requirements are met for products.
- Conduct training and provide support to staff on all aspects of trade compliance and operations, Knowledge of environmental regulations and handling of hazardous materials.
- DPL screening and resolution of false positives.

The compensation range for this position in the US is $102,720 to $213,000 based on a full-time schedule. Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills, and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city, or local minimum wage requirement.
This position will be eligible for Kyndryl's discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl's applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave and paid time off. Note: if this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.

To be successful in the role you will have the following knowledge and experience:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in trade operations or a related field, with a particular focus on handling encrypted IT equipment, dual-use items, and military/defense exports
- Expertise in Latin and Central Amer
