A shift, 7am - 7pm, 2-2-3 shift
Position Summary
Under the direction of the Toolroom Supervisor and Moldmakers, assemble and disassemble injection molds for the purpose of cleaning, converting and regaining cavitation in an accurate and timely manner, manufacture Single Minute Exchange of Die (SMED) fixtures as well as operate Toolroom machinery.
Job Elements & Position Responsibilities
- Disassemble and reassemble injection molds to meet production and sampling schedules
- Clean molds and mold components and perform preventative maintenance according to the Toolroom checklist
- Install replacement cavity forming steel in order to regain cavitation of molds
- Complete Toolroom Work Orders and all accompanying Toolroom documentation
