Job Description:
The Department of Healthcare and Family Services, Division of Finance, Bureau of Collection Services is seeking to hire Third-Party Liability Establishment Support Staff for the Benefit Recovery Establishment Unit. This position will create Departmental notifications to insurance companies utilizing Microsoft Office applications and implement procedures to identify those insurance companies who continue to deny subrogation claims because of specifically designed adjudication procedures. This position will also prepare and complete mailings of the monthly medical drug subrogation and analyze, interpret, and evaluate insurance company subrogation claim responses to determine the application of partial payments to services billed and the appropriateness of disallowed responses. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and exhibit the ability to plan, prioritize, and follow up on tasks to ensure such are completed accurately and timely.
