Job Description

• Prepare and install test units in the test facility in order to simulate field installation conditions. This includes but is not limited to evacuation and charging, duct connection, electrical connection, etc..
• Set up test facilities and connect data acquisition instruments according to general instructions and per test standard requirements.
• Make modifications and adaptations to the test unit based upon analysis of the data.
• Utilize computer software programs as required to run the test facility, conduct testing, collect and analyze test data
• Adhere to company’s Code of Conduct and Business Ethics standards, and deal professionally, competently, and courteously with colleagues and external vendors in all communications.

Perform all work in conformance with all company health & safety policies at all times.

Qualifications

• Must have some previous experience working with HVAC equipment.
• Hold relevant technical education qualifications/certifications for the role.
• Good communication (oral, reading and writing) skills, and able to read/interpret technical instructions.
• Strong attention to detail in complying with testing procedures and accurate reporting of test results.
• Ability to effectively and safely use various hand and powered tools in performing work.
