Job Description

  • Assemble, instrument, and upgrade prototype test vehicles or engines in collaboration with design engineering teams.

  • Support testing activities at designated test facilities.

  • Act as the test object expert, diagnosing and troubleshooting issues during testing phases.

  • Build both standard and advanced prototype assemblies.

  • Perform maintenance, repairs, and fine-tuning of test vehicles/engines during testing.

  • Conduct regular troubleshooting and root cause analysis.

  • Work closely with the engineering network to ensure alignment and technical support.

  • Apply theoretical knowledge from education to practical, real-world applications.

  • Participate in onboarding and development programs, including:

    • Introduction to company operations, tools, and team culture.

    • Coaching and guidance during the transition into the role.

    • Learning about product development processes and how individual work contributes to larger goals.

  • Contribute actively and add value to assigned projects with ongoing support and supervision.

Qualifications

  • Education: Associate degree, technical diploma, or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a related field.

  • Experience: 0–2 years of relevant hands-on experience in mechanical or prototype assembly/testing.

  • Basic understanding of engine/vehicle systems and mechanical components.

  • Ability to perform assembly, repair, and diagnostic tasks using technical documentation and tools.

  • Familiarity with troubleshooting and fine-tuning procedures for prototype components.

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills for effective collaboration with engineering teams.

  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow within a dynamic R&D/testing environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to apply educational knowledge to hands-on technical tasks.

  • Enthusiasm for participating in onboarding and continuous learning initiatives.
