PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: The HQ Cyberspace Capabilities Center (HQ CCC) is a center within Air Combat Command ACC. Air Combat Command (ACC) is designated as the Core Function Lead Integrator (CFLI) for Cyberspace and HQ CCC supports that mission with integration capabilities and services for the Air Force-provisioned portion of the network. HQ CCC conducts a wide assortment of tasks to facilitate taking AF cyber requirements to cyberspace capabilities. Job Responsibilities:· Assess software products for supportability, operability, compatibility and security to ensure the software products present a low risk to the AFNet and SIPRNet and placement on the AF Evaluated Products List (AF EPL). The evaluation shall consist of, but is not limited to the below.· Review AF customer certification requests via the Application Request Worksheet (ARW). Review ARW for completeness to include software documentation and add each new request into the AF EPL SharePoint site. The review shall include items of functionality, supportability, operability, compatibility and security.· Provide feedback to the AF customer and assist customers throughout the software certification process using the AF EPL SharePoint site.· Review the software product installation documentation. Ready the test environment for software product installation on the latest AF Standard Desktop Configuration, DoD Server Core Configuration, web or mobile hosting environment.· Perform the software product installation and conduct assessment tests that shall at a minimum include supportability, operability, compatibility and security of the installed software product. Conduct assessment tests in the Representative AFNet Validation Environment (RAVE) or other networking environments. Analyze results and present findings in a Certification Memo that identifies any found vulnerabilities and any possible mitigation. Should the software product have any identified immitigable vulnerabilities, will then coordinate with the software product sponsor to determine if the vendor has a possible mitigation.· Provide the Certification Memo and test results to HQ CCC for submission to the AF Security Control Assessor for certification and inclusion in the AF EPL. Use the AF EPL SharePoint site to monitor and update the status of each certification request through each phase of the software certification process and provide metrics to HQ CCC.· Elevate unresolvable course-of-action mitigation to HQ CCC government representatives for resolution.
Job Requirements:· Must be local to Scott AFB – Hybrid work· 3+ years of technical experience as a client support technician, help desk specialist, system administrator, software test evaluator, or other related activity.· Active Secret security clearance· DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification. (Security +)
