Test Automation Specialist - 4364

DESCRIPTION OF THE TASKS

• Maintain and implement IS quality control and evaluation procedures.
• Develop and maintain testing tools.
• Define, manage and document quality tests for level 2 support of various information systems.
• Design, develop and maintain automated tests namely using Selenium Webdriver in order to continuously test the portfolio of information systems.
• Provide level 2 system support by performing manual tests in order to identify and reproduce issues and propose solutions to the product owners.
• Provide studies and assessments related to quality control of information system projects.
• Advise on improving the quality of the DevOps portfolio of information systems.
• Participate in meetings with the various project teams.
• Update tickets in SMT and JIRA, or other ticket management tool used.
• Keep system documentation of the DevOps portfolio up-to-date (incl. Confluence).
• Participate in technical meetings with the DevOps team, product owners, business users and other development teams.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• Rapid self-starting capability.
• Good knowledge of the ITIL operations processes incl. service desk, incident management and especially problem management
• Very good experience in tests automation.
• Experience with Selenium Web Driver using Java programming.
• Good knowledge about responsive, multi-device automated testing (e.g. desktop, laptop, tablet, smartphone).
• Good knowledge of testing methodologies and tools
• Good knowledge of application development environments.
• Good knowledge of the design and development of web and multi-tier applications.
• Good knowledge of information systems lifecycle
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Capability to speak to business and technical audiences.

• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Attention to details.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Ability to write clear and structured technical documents, processes and diagrams.
• Good knowledge of Business Process Analysis.
• Good redaction skills, experience in preparation of written reports.
• Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in application developments.

SPECIFIC EXPERTISE

• At least 4 years of experience in quality assurance of information systems
• At least 4 years of specific expertise in Knowledge of test automation technologies, tools and techniques
• At least 4 years of specific expertise in Selenium Web Driver, GIT, JIRA, Java
• At least 4 years of specific expertise in test data management
• At least 4 years of specific expertise in creation of test automation solutions
• At least 4 years of specific expertise in Test Management and Defect Tracking tools

CERTIFICATIONS & STANDARDS

Optional:

• ISTQB Advanced Level Test Automation Engineer or equivalent
• Certified DevSecOps Professional (CDP) certification.

Due to the particular nature of a large international organisation, candidates should also have the following non-technical skills:

• Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in working in team;
• Ability to make presentations to Member State Authorities, excellent communicator.
• Ability to participate in multilingual meetings;
• Ability to work in multi-cultural environment, on multiple large projects;
• Excellent Team Player
• Ability to understand, speak and write in English C1; French at level B1 or higher will be an advantage;
• High degree of discretion and integrity
