We are currently seeking a Test Automation Lead to join our team in Herndon, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).

NTT DATA Federal Services, Inc. currently seeks a Test Automation Lead to join our development and migration team to support the activities necessary to migrate a financial system from mainframe and mid-tier components to the cloud.  Developers work collaboratively in highly skilled groups using an Agile methodology. The work is remote anywhere in the US. Candidates must be a U.S. Citizen to be considered for this opportunity. Only consider full-time salaried candidates looking to work directly for NTT DATA Federal Services, Inc.   Job Summary:  Lead creation of an automated test suite for a portfolio of mainframe applications and associated mid-tier systems that will be modernized and migrated to the the cloud.  Test suite will be used to validate like-for-like functionality of the modernized system with the legacy system and to validate functional compliance with legislation governing the systems. Work with product owners, system SMEs and development leads to identify test requirements and develop a comprehensive test plan, select the appropriate tools and then implement and execute it. The test suite is a critical component of our risk mitigation strategy, fundamental to the successful completion of this modernization and cloud migration project.  Therefor this position requires an individual with extensive test lead experience, an attention to detail, an ability to effectively communicate and work with a range of stakeholders, knowledge of current automated testing technologies and a willingness to define, implement and execute test cases.   Basic Qualifications: 

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field or equivalent experience and certifications.
  • Education Equivalency: H.S. Diploma + 4 years additional experience Equals Associate’s Degree Associate’s Degree + 4 years additional experience Equals Bachelor’s Degree Bachelor’s Degree + 4 years additional experience Equals Master’s Degree
• Minimum 10 years of experience software QA testing.
• Minimum 5 years of experience architecting, designing and developing automated test frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Jmeter and Cucumber for end-to-end, integration and performance testing.
• MUST BE A US CITIZEN
• Favorably adjudicated Tier 3, or equivalent Noncritical Sensitive (formerly IT-II) level or higher investigation.

  Preferred Qualifications: 

• Advanced understanding of legacy and modern computer system technologies and architectures.
• Experience testing in AWS, Azure, OCI and GCP cloud environments.
• Experience testing mainframe systems.
• Self-directed, detail-oriented and have excellent written & oral communication skills.

 

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $99,562 - $230,469. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
