Job Title: Cloud Test Automation Engineer

Job location: Waltham, Boston, MA (Onsite)

Job description:

We are seeking a Test Automation Engineer with a strong background in automation testing and expertise in the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). The candidate will be responsible for crafting and implementing automated test scripts using Python and a BDD framework to guarantee the quality and dependability of our software applications.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement automated test scripts using Python to ensure comprehensive test coverage
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand application requirements and develop effective test strategies
• Perform regression, functional, and performance testing to validate software quality
• Identify and document defects, facilitating timely resolutions with the development team
• Maintain and improve the existing test automation framework and processes

Required Skills:

• Shown 5 to 7 years’ experience in automation testing with a strong understanding of STLC and testing methodologies.
• Experience in Python programming language
• Experience with test automation tool Selenium
• Experience with CI/CD processes and tools such as Jenkins
• Hands on working experience in Linux (e.g. CentOS) is required & Windows is preferred
• Experience in performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Load Runner)
• Experience of API testing and tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
