About the role

The Professional Engagement and External Partnerships Office (PEEP) at California College of the Arts seeks a creative, organized, and detail-oriented Visual Communications & Administrative Coordinator for a temporary position supporting marketing materials, digital communications, event preparation, and office administration for PEEP programs.

This position combines graphic design, event communications, in-office support, and administrative coordination. The ideal candidate has strong design and visual communication skills and is comfortable working in an office environment, supporting day-to-day administrative needs, preparing event materials, coordinating details, and assisting with in-person programs.

This position requires weekly in-office presence to support PEEP operations, collaborate with staff and student workers, prepare printed and physical materials, assist with event setup, and help ensure that office systems and communications materials are organized and ready for use. The Administrative & Visual Communications Assistant will work closely with PEEP leadership, CCA’s Lead Designer, staff collaborators, and work-study students to support the office’s programming, employer engagement, and student-facing events.

This role suits someone who enjoys both creative and operational work—designing strong visual materials while also helping ensure events, office projects, and communications run smoothly.

This is a temporary position with an anticipated end date of February 2027.
