About the role

Job Description

As a Technical Project Coordinator, you will join Balsam Brands’ talented and growing Project Management team. You will partner with our Technical Team and other cross-functional groups to deliver on-time, quality releases using Agile methodology and supporting internal processes.

A successful candidate will be self-motivated, proactive, and have exceptional project management skills. S/he has strong communication skills, is comfortable working with teammates across levels and disciplines, and is passionate about cultivating his/her skills in Agile and overall project management.

This position reports to Senior Agile Project Manager. This role can work remote from any U.S. state where Balsam Brands is currently setup as an employer, which includes: CA, CO, FL, GA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, MD, MA, MO, NJ, NM, NC, OH, OR, PA, TN, TX, VA, and WA. This role can also work locally in our Redwood City, CA or Boise, ID office location. Our local teams are expected to work in a hybrid model, which includes two days in-office. This temporary role is  expected to work 40 hours per week.

What you’ll do:

  • Partner with the Agile Project team to support Balsam Brands software development teams and processes using Scrum/Agile practices  
  • Track the day-to-day progress of project activity
  • Monitor and report project progress, issues, and risks
  • Schedule and facilitate meetings to gather requirements, drive progress, and resolve roadblocks
  • Manage project timelines and milestones to ensure on-time product releases
  • Build relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Work and communicate with key Business Stakeholders, Business Analysts, and Executive Sponsors

What you bring to the table:

  • 2+ years of experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, preferably in an eCommerce setting
  • 2+ years of demonstrated experience using project management techniques, preferably Scrum and/or Agile methodology
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to details
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Strategic mindset – ability to investigate and understand issues from many perspectives
  • Flexible attitude – willing and able to adjust focus based on changing priorities and circumstances
  • Proficiency with JIRA or other related task management software
  • Experience in any part of the software development life cycle is a plus

The base pay range for this position is: $27/Hour to $56/Hour. Where an individual falls within that range will vary based on several factors including geographic location and may vary depending on candidate qualifications and experience, applicable skills, and other job-related factors. We benchmark our pay ranges against current external data sources and regularly review compensation for our team members.
