Job Title:  Temporary Psychometrist

This is a Temporary position limited to no more than 12-months. This position is part-time and limited to no more than an average of 30 hours a week in a twelve-month period.

Job Summary:

The Linda Crnic Institute for Down Syndrome at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus (CU-Anschutz) are hiring a part-time temporary Psychometrist to conduct studies examining executive function, cognition, language, and adaptive functioning for individuals with Down syndrome. The Psychometrist’s position will be supervised by a licensed psychologist and will include the following responsibilities: 

Key Responsibilities:

·         Assisting with data collection through administration and scoring of cognitive measures and questionnaires.

·         Extracting medical information from electronic medical records.

·         Documenting procedures for testing, decision rules for scoring, and maintaining clinical manuals for procedures for all cognitive testing.

·         Coding for qualitative aspects of cognitive testing.

Work Location:

This position is onsite at the Linda Crnic Institute on the University of Colorado Anschutz campus

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Entry Level:

·         Bachelor’s degree in any field.

o        A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree on a year for year basis.

·         One (1) year experience administering cognitive or neuropsychological assessments in a research or clinical setting.

Intermediate Level:

·         Bachelor’s degree in any field.
