Reimagine What’s Possible 

As a Teller, you will be responsible for effectively servicing and providing exceptional service to our APCI Federal Credit Union (FCU) members in person, by phone, mail, online, email, and through various digital communication channels. You will also support routine Teller transactional, operational, and member service support tasks in conjunction with the strategic initiatives established by the Credit Union and APCI Federal Credit Union (APCI FCU), NCUA, Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., and other relevant policies, procedures, and all regulatory requirements.

Our services include mobile banking, remote deposit capture, vehicle loans, mortgage refinance loans, personal loans, MasterCard, share certificates, IRAs, savings, checking, and money market accounts. The loan amounts range from $500 to $1,200,000, and individual member deposits can range from $5 to over $1,000,000. While APCI FCU maintains a single physical office in Allentown, PA, its members span all 50 U.S. states, as well as a few international offices. The largest concentrations of members are in Pennsylvania, Texas, California, Arizona, and Louisiana.

  • Encouraged travel: 5%. Occasionally, the Credit Union conducts membership events off the premises. Employees may be asked to participate in these events.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of APCI FCU products and services with ability to clearly explain to current or potential members.

  • Represent APCI FCU in a courteous and professional manner which supports APCI FCU’s mission and reputation. 

  • Open, modify and close all types of deposit products such as savings, checking, money market, and certificates.

  • Perform financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and issuing cashier's checks. Additionally balance cash drawers, complete end-of-day reports, prepare weekly cash pick for armored carrier, investigate, and resolve any out-of-balance conditions for accounting.

  • Ensure that all information and transactions regarding credit union members are kept confidential. Enforce strict adherence to established security procedures. 

  • Assist with change of addresses, order debit cards, scan driver’s licenses, update member profiles on all accounts and all profiles, import closed account forms to Nautilus, process returned mail. 

  • Develop and demonstrate an understanding of APCI FCU regulatory requirements such as USA PATRIOT Act, BSA/OFAC and Reg. DD (Truth-In-Savings).
