Purpose of Role

The Technology Adoption Lead is responsible for driving successful global adoption of technology initiatives and managing the change process to ensure successful implementation and user acceptance. This role focuses on analyzing the impact of new technologies and tools, developing strategies for effective change management, and providing insights to optimize technology adoption across the Global Technology Department and Under Armour. Embedded within the Technology Operations and Business Planning Team, this position aims to maximize outreach and impact. 

This role focuses on enabling technology teammates to execute Organizational Change Management (OCM) and adoption strategies through the development and implementation of OCM playbooks and training. The Technology Adoption Lead will support leadership in achieving their Technology adoption goals, develop and execute communication strategies, and integrate comprehensive training plans. Additionally, this role involves developing OCM development and learning paths for key groups, including leadership, project leaders, and people managers withing Global Technology.

The Technology Adoption Lead will work to drive faster adoption, improve employee morale, productivity, quality of work, higher ultimate utilization of and proficiency with the changes that impact employees. These improvements will increase benefit realization, value creation, ROI and the achievement of results and outcomes.
 

Your Impact

  • Create a comprehensive guide that outlines the methodologies, processes, and best practices for managing organizational change within the Global Technology team. 
  • Outline the adoption strategy on how GT will ensure that new processes, technologies, or changes are effectively accepted and utilized by our teammates, ensuring that the change is embedded into the organizational culture and daily operations.
  • Develop a clear and consistent plan that communicates the vision, benefits, and impacts of the change using multiple channels and forums to reach all the teammates impacted.
  • Secure leaders’ sponsorship and support by involving them to champion the changes. Engage with teammates early in the change process by involving them in pilot programs, focus groups, and feedback sessions.
  • Conduct training needs assessments to develop comprehensive programs tailored to different roles. Partner with the Adoption & Enablement Specialist to ensure teammates are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills for the change.
  • Focus on building the capabilities and competencies necessary to manage and lead change initiatives effectively within GT. 
  • Design and implement structured OCM learning programs to develop these essential skills and knowledge for effective change management. 
  • Define clear performance metrics and KPIs to measure adoption success rates and identify methods for monitoring progress and areas for improvement. Report progress to stakeholders, make data-driven decision, and incorporate feedback loops.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with typically 8 years of relevant experience or Master's degree with typically 6 years of relevant experience or typically 12 years of relevant work experience without degree
  • 8+ years of experience in Organizational Change Management, digital adoption, or related roles.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing OCM strategies and playbooks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Certification in Change Management (e.g., Prosci, ACMP) is a plus.
  • Experience in developing and delivering training prog
