Technician Trainer (Lead Operator, Training)

POSITION SUMMARY

 

As a Technician Trainer, you will play a key a key role in training and education of technical skills in the production process. You'll provide technical coaching and insights to production team members through training and finding opportunities for further development using resources such as POKA. You'll provide leadership, guidance, and support of education and training methodologies within the technical training center.

 

*This position will be a night shift role from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am*

 

• Become a subject-matter-expert in using Education and Training Methodologies, supporting technical skill development on assigned shift
• Work autonomously to conduct and facilitate training while adapting to different learning styles
• Provide coaching and training in technical skillsets to various production team members
• Work cross-functionally with trainers and supervisors to develop training plans and further development
• Assist on special teams and projects as needed

 

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED equivalent 
• 6 months experience developing and executing technical and/or behavior training programs in a manufacturing, industrial, military, or related environment

OR

• Associates degree in a technical discipline

 

Other

• Classroom style training experience with adult learners

 

The hourly pay for this position is $32.75 an hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
