What we are looking for: -

The Technical Writer (TW) will play a vital role in the company’s success by producing high quality technical and functional documentation that conveys complex and detailed processes in a simple and effective way.

The role purpose and scope: -

• Conceptualizing, creating, and maintaining technical and functional documentation
• Interfacing with client facing teams to develop a deeper understanding of client operational processes and associated documentation requirements
• Creating and maintaining internal technical architecture documentation and requirements
• Building tutorials to help end-users understand and use the Soroco’ comprehensive solutions
• Analyzing existing content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities
• Recommend and own the tool set required for efficient content management

Experience and skills:-

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Design, or equivalent
• 2 to 5 years of experience as a technical writer covering UI content, Product Documentation and API
  documentation.
• Experience working directly with cross functional team including engineers and other subject matter experts
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and focus on quality
• Excellent written communication skills in English
• Ability to quickly grasp and convey complex technical concepts with text and pictures
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Markdown & WordPress
• Familiarity with the SDLC and software development
• Experience with collaboration and document management tools. Working knowledge JSON / HTML / React JS is a plus
• Scripting experience and creation and production of training content including videos
