Annual Salary: $135,000 - $270,000 (depends on experience level)

Captivation Software has an immediate need for a Technical Systems Engineer with data flow analysis and DevOps skills to support Report Authoring and Dissemination efforts. Support will focus on data flow analysis and DevOps of a tool suite, which delivers information around the world at mission speed. The team supporting works with cutting edge technology to manage high-volume and time-sensitive data throughput in response to partner needs. Support includes both sustainment of the existing tools and development of new features and functionality based on high-priority mission needs.

Responsibilities may include: analyzing data flows; identifying potential data flow bottlenecks or processing delays; deploying applications; installing and configuring complex software; managing network servers and technology tools; monitoring and maintaining the system for required levels of performance; writing scripts to automate general system operations or DevOps activities; and troubleshooting and resolving issues and outages.

Requirements

Security Clearance:

• Must currently hold a Top Secret / SCI U.S. Government security clearance w/ a Favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Four (4) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
• Shall have familiarity with systems engineering such as the development, engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing of hardware/software systems, and requirements elicitation, analysis and functional allocation
• Shall have familiarity with developing documentation required to support a program’s technical issues and training situations.
• Shall have familiarity with agile and/or spiral development models..
• Data flow analysis
• DevOps
