About the Job CALNET has a requirement for a Technical Support Engineer with Top Secret / SCI, Full Scope Polygraph to support an NSA Contract in Ft Meade, MD. Position Description The Technical Support Engineer shall have the following qualifications.

Fabricates, installs, maintains, and repairs electronic, mechanical, and/or other types of components and equipment.
Performs technical tasks and provides site support.
Troubleshoots hardware and software problems and interconnectivity issues.
Modifies, moves, and installs new equipment.

Desired Skills: Application Support, Lexmark Printer Troubleshooting, Microsoft Windows Systems Administration, Multifunction Devices, Remote Desktop Administration, Electrical Knowledge, Mechanical Knowledge Special Requirement Notes: Installation and response efforts for the position requires lifting equipment that weighs 20-30 pounds, walking, standing, pushing, and pulling; working around, under, and over desks, as well as professional personal interactions with customers. Clearance: Top Secret / SCI Clearance with Full Scope PolygraphCertifications: IAT Level 1, CompTIA A Security+ CE, CompTIA Network+ CE Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or equivalent OR High School with 15 years of working experience.
