ProMach is excited to welcome a new Technical Accountant to our Corporate Finance & Accounting team. The Technical Accountant will be a member of the Corporate Finance & Accounting team, partnering with the Technical Accounting Manager. In this role, you will work with global team members at varying levels of management across Finance, Reporting, Treasury, Tax, and division Controlling. This role will also be exposed to ProMach’s most challenging accounting topics, where this person will gain technical experience at a rapid pace. The Technical Accountant will stay abreast of new accounting pronouncements and report on future impacts to ProMach and its compliance. This role will also support foreign entity compliance with US GAAP. In addition, the Technical Accountant will help support the North America US GAAP audit as well as support multiple foreign audits.
Our organization follows a hybrid work structure where employees can work remotely two days a week, based on demands of specific tasks. Working from the office is encouraged for tasks that require a high degree of collaboration. The successful candidate for this position will be a strong individual contributor with a willingness to learn complex accounting and will play an important role in the financial future of the company.
Does this work interest you?
- Partner with foreign entities for US GAAP compliance, including the review of local statutory to US GAAP financials and support of annual foreign audits.
- Support data collection needs between external audit team and the organization.
- Provide internal support to meet all requirements of the annual US GAAP audit.
- Partner with Finance Leadership for preparation of the global consolidated financial statements and disclosures.
- Oversee ASC 842 lease accounting, including ongoing monitoring of lease portfolio, updating lease accounting software, and being the point of contact across all entities for lease accounting questions.
- Oversee ASC 606 revenue recognition, including reviewing contracts, determining any adjustments required, and being the point of contact across all entities for revenue recognition questions.
- Support special projects and analyses on an ad-hoc basis, including developing and monitoring accounting policies.
- Participate in group discussions, such as trainings, with regular interactions of ongoing support to all entities.

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience in public accounting with a focus on technical accounting, revenue recognition, lease accounting and research
- MBA/MAcc or CPA or path to completion required
- International accounting experience a plus
- Strong understanding of accounting theory, controls, and US GAAP
- High level of attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize demands and meet deadlines
- Advanced Excel skills
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced, growth environment
- Excellent written/verbal communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills
- Ability to communicate to all levels within the organization with confidence
- Eager to learn and enthusiastic for gaining new, technical accounting skills
