Technical Solution Consultant Director

What does a successful Technical Solutions Consultant Director do?

You'll be leading a technical team that serves as the strategic guides for our key partners, including middleware, software vendors, and third-party service providers. This role balances strategic leadership, operational excellence, and hands on technical expertise to drive revenue growth and partner success.

What You Will Do

• Lead and develop a team of high performing Technical Solutions Consultants who collaborate with sales and product teams to create partner success strategies
• Assist in building frameworks for partner health, performance and feedback loops
• Drive innovation in partner experience
• Ensure Technical Solutions Consultants effectively translate partner business requirements into scalable and marketable solutions
• Serve as an executive level technical advisor in strategic deals and key customer meetings 
• Establish career development plans, training programs and performance metrics while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous learning

 

What You Will Need To Have

• Bachelor's degree with 4–7 years of relevant experience in a related field.
• 7+ years in a technical systems role, such as Operations Support, Analysis, Sales, Product, or Project Management.
• Deep understanding of partner ecosystems
• Strong business acumen and data driven decision making skills
• Strategic leadership in conjunction with coaching and mentoring team members 
• Ability to balance strategic vision with hands on technical engagement 
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
• Problem solving and conflict resolution abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint

What Would Be Great To Have

• Proven track record of 2-5+ years in supervisory or leadership roles
• Experience with process improvement and performance management 
• Skilled at prioritizing and delegating tasks 
• B2B Retail or Hospitality System Integration with Hardware, Software, and System Service Agreements.
• Executing contracts, licenses, and agreements
• Project, product, or service management knowledge
• Business Case Justification and Problem Management Process
• Related banking industry knowledge in POS platforms, retail merchant services, payment transactions, or payment gateways
