Technical Quality Assurance Advisor 1

What does a successful Technical Quality Assurance Advisor do? As a Technical Quality Assurance Advisor, you play a vital role in ensuring the quality and performance of Fiserv’s software products. Your dedication and expertise contribute to delivering solutions that meet our rigorous standards and provide exceptional value to our clients. What you will do:

  • Conduct detailed quality assurance testing for software products.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Collaborate with development and product teams to address and resolve defects.
  • Implement and promote best practices for quality assurance within the team.
  • Monitor and report on test progress, defect status, and overall product quality.
  • Participate in peer reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high standards.

What you will need to have:

  • 6+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
  • 3+ years of experience in automation testing.
  • 3+ years of experience in performance testing.
  • 3+ years of experience in Agile methodologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and/or equivalent military experience.

What would be great to have:

  • Experience with automated testing tools.
  • Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools.
  • Familiarity with security testing practices.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycles.
  • Certification in software testing methodologies.

Important information about this role:

  • This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and lead to stronger productivity.
  • You must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role.
