Technical Project Manager - Sr Professional II

About your role:

As a Technical Project Manager - Sr Professional II, you will lead the structure, coordination, and execution of complex technical projects from initiation through delivery. You will work across Fiserv teams, clients, and third-party partners to align priorities, manage risks, and drive timely decisions. Your work will help ensure predictable delivery, clear governance, and successful project outcomes that support business and client objectives.

What you'll do:

  • Lead end-to-end technical project management activities, including scope definition, project planning, milestone tracking, and dependency management
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities and communications across internal teams, clients, and third-party partners to support aligned execution
  • Establish project governance, including roles, responsibilities, decision paths, escalation management, and communication plans
  • Monitor project health, identify risks, issues, and dependencies, and drive mitigation plans to support successful delivery
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project plans, dashboards, action trackers, status reporting, and consolidated timelines
  • Facilitate stakeholder alignment by communicating project progress, changes in scope or schedule, and key decisions throughout the project lifecycle
  • Serve as a primary project-level point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders, including participation in scheduled project meetings and reviews

Experience you'll need to have:

  • 5+ years of experience in technical project management, program management, or consulting roles leading large-scale projects in a matrixed environment
  • 5+ years of experience building and managing project plans, governance frameworks, risk logs, status reporting, and stakeholder communications
  • Experience using project management and business communication tools, including Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft PowerPoint, or equivalent tools
  • Ability to manage third-party vendors, project deliverables, schedule changes, and project-level reporting across multiple workstreams
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, information systems, technology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience

Experience that would be great to have:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent project management certification
  • Experience in banking, financial services, payments, or software industries
  • Experience working within a professional services organization
  • Experience supporting client implementations or enterprise delivery programs

How you'll work:

  • This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
  • This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment.

Travel: This role require frequent travel (25%+).
