Job Description
We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will play an essential role in driving the successful execution of our technical and IT projects. You will be the driving force behind planning, executing, and closing projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

The ideal candidate is a certified PMP professional with an expertise in Agile methodology, has worked previously as a Scrum Master, and has excellent communication skills. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days on-site and 1 day remote and will be a W-2 Hourly 9-12-month contract with possible extension.
The hourly rate is $53/hr.– $55/hr. Candidates will be paid within this range based on their work experience and skills. Candidates are also eligible for limited benefits such as health insurance, professional development, trainings, our referral bonus program, and our wellness program.
Responsibilities:
- Overall coordination, status reporting and stability of project-oriented work efforts.
- Establishing and implementing project management processes and methodologies for the IT community to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations.
- Assembling project plans and teamwork assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts on a daily basis, identifying resource needs, performing quality review; and escalating functional, quality, timeline issues appropriately.
- Tracking key project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources to meet the needs of customers.
- Coordinating communication with all areas of the enterprise that impacts the scope, budget, risk and resources of the work effort being managed.
- Assisting Program Manager(s) in partnering with senior management of the business community to identify and prioritize opportunities for utilizing IT to achieve the goals of the enterprise.
- Managing one or more cross-functional projects of medium to high complexity.
- Coordinating tasks between various teams, developing processes, resolving issues and ensuring team and customers receive required information and documentation to perform their responsibilities.
- Managing deliverables and communicating with application teams to meet project deadlines.
- Initiating and tracking communications among our customers.
- Managing and leading complex projects through entire project lifecycle (inception, design, development, integration and test, trial, and deployment).
- Creating and tracking an end-to-end project plan (in conjunction with the scrum master and team leads).
- Lead change request generation and tracking.
- Identifying and managing critical path and risk areas and creating risk response and mitigation plans.
- Communicating statuses on progress, risks and issues.
- Working with management to maintain the project specific budget.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or another related field. Or equivalent work experience.
- Project Management certification or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum is required.
- 5 to 7 years of IT work experience, including 5 or more years managing projects.
- Experience with projects in multiple technologies and functions.
- Must possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices and change management techniques.
- Agile Scrum Certified, with experience in Rally (or similar tracking tool).
- Agile or Kanban experience preferred.
- Preferred Enterprise systems or database administration background.
- Expertise in infrastructure concepts.
