Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to oversee multiple cross-functional projects across our engineering and product squads. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with lean startup methodologies and agile practices, driving operational excellence while maintaining our innovative and creative culture.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

• Lead multiple technical projects simultaneously across different squads using lean agile methodologies

• Implement and facilitate agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and cycle planning

• Track project progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to keep development on schedule

• Develop and maintain project documentation, timelines, and resource allocation plans

• Create and refine processes that balance efficiency with our fast-paced, creative environment

Team Leadership

• Serve as the connective tissue between technical teams, product managers, designers, and stakeholders

• Run effective meetings that respect team members' time while accomplishing clear objectives

• Coach teams on agile best practices and continuous improvement

• Implement team rituals that foster collaboration, transparency, and accountability

Technical Coordination

• Translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and vice versa

• Work with engineering leaders to break down complex features into manageable tasks

• Ensure proper technical documentation and knowledge sharing across teams

• Help identify and mitigate technical debt and risks

Delivery Management

• Drive consistent, predictable delivery across multiple technical initiatives

• Create meaningful metrics and dashboards to track progress and performance

• Balance resources across competing priorities to maximize organizational impact

• Ensure alignment between technical execution and business objectives

Qualifications

Required

• 3+ years of technical project management experience, preferably in startup environments

• Strong understanding of lean startup principles and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)

• Experience implementing and improving agile processes across multiple teams

• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex technical projects

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills across technical and non-technical groups

• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, evolving environment

• Experience with project management tools (Linear, Jira, Asana, Notion, etc.)

Preferred

• Knowledge of social media and digital art platforms

• Experience with remote or distributed team management

• Background in software development or technical product management

• Familiarity with modern software development practices and tooling

• Understanding of design processes and UX principles
