We have a role for you if

  • You have successfully managed projects across multiple engineering teams.
  • You have a great understanding of agile methodologies with educated & considered opinions on which work best for various situations.
  • You have facilitated effective communication and collaboration across engineering leads, product managers, and other stakeholders. You have the ability to filter and distill meaningful information for the right audience
  • You exhibit a deeply curious mindset about new ideas.
  • You are methodical, observant, and detail oriented.
  • You can build and execute plans in ambiguous settings, remaining flexible and calm during uncertainty.

What you will do

  • Help deliver high-quality projects using Agile methodologies that meet business objectives, within agreed timelines, and budgets.
  • Clearly and effectively communicate overall program status, while identifying and resolving key bottlenecks and inter-dependencies of complex projects. 
  • Create project schedules, tracking and reporting progress and status updates to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate project retrospectives, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Manage change requests and scope creep, ensuring that project documentation is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Drive process improvement.

What you will achieve

  • Within 30 days
    • Get acquainted with the team and establish working relationships with key stakeholders, including engineering leads, product managers, and stakeholders.
    • Understand the company's product development process and help define your role within that process.
    • Attend stand-up meetings, sprint planning sessions, and other team meetings to gain a better understanding of ongoing projects.
    • Review project documentation and familiarize yourself with the project management tools and software used by the company.
    • Work with the engineering directors to establish performance expectations and KPIs for the role.
  • Within 60 days
    • Start managing high-priority projects and work closely with engineering leads to identify potential risks and mitigation plans.
    • Work with product managers to ensure effective communication and collaboration across teams.
    • Develop project schedules for upcoming projects.
    • Work with engineering leads to identify areas for improvement and implement process improvements to increase project efficiency.
  • Within 90 days
    • Ensure successful delivery of high-priority projects, within agreed timelines, budgets, and with minimal project risks.
    • Conduct project retrospectives, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to increase project efficiency.
    • Stay current with industry trends, project management methodologies, and tools.

Salary: $115,000 - $130,000 plus bonus

To be successful in this role, you will need

  • Experience working in teams using the Scrum framework.
  • Specific experience managing the entire lifecycle of a cross-team project.
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant certifications such as PMP or CSM.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience developing and releasing
