This role is part of the Lunar Permanence business unit, which develops Blue Origin’s Blue Moon landers and related products. To further Blue Origin's mission of millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth, we are building sustainable infrastructure for our transport of crew and cargo from Earth to the lunar surface.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Developing, managing and controlling project cost and schedule estimates
• Maintaining alignment between high level program IMS and lower level project work planning
• Identifying, tracking and reporting project risks
• Implementing and managing project cost control processes

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5 year of experience managing aerospace product development and manufacturing projects
• Demonstrated track record of on-time and on-budget deliveries of engineering products
• Experience with spacecraft of launch vehicle development cycles
• Proficiency in MS Project and Oracle P6
• Demonstrated knowledge of risk management best practices
• Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited university
• Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 8 year of experience managing aerospace product development and manufacturing projects
• Masters Degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited university
• Familiarity with spacecraft cryogenic and non-cryogenic fluids management and/or thermal control systems
• Experience with aerospace manufacturing processes
• Familiarity with procurement processes

 

Compensation Range for:

CA applicants is $117,498.00-$164,497.20;CO applicants is $107,707.00-$150,789.45;WA applicants is $117,498.00-$164,497.20
