Job Summary
The Technical Project Manager I will make major contributions to the Professional Services Organization at Imprivata. In this role, you will define, scope, and manage a portfolio of projects, ensuring new and existing customer technical and business objectives are achieved. You will primarily manage customer projects for Small to Mid-Market Customers as well as backend customer improvement projects. In this role you will closely work with customers and internal stakeholders including Sales, Account Management, Technical Services Development, Infrastructure, and Managed Services to ensure products and services sold are implemented as smoothly and pleasantly as possible.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Create and maintain comprehensive project plan documentation along with up-to-date Customer Relationship Management (CRM) status to provides transparency for all stakeholders
- Facilitate implementation kick-offs and on-going meetings with key project stakeholders
- Manage scope changes gaining agreement for revisions from project stakeholders
- Manage assigned portfolio of majority small to mid-market customer projects using pre-created project templates
- Guide customers through creating data extracts following samples or a best practice guide and create a Data Definition Guide to map customer data to fields in the FairWarning product database.
- Create user log on accounts and data directories for new customers and applications.
- Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders via delivery of meeting agendas and recaps highlighting deliverable actions
- Assign actionable project tasks (configuration, quality assurance etc.) to appropriate internal team resources
- Measure project performance to deliver products and services faster using appropriate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Metrics, and tools/techniques
- Maintain basic understanding and knowledge of Imprivata contracts
- Satisfactorily achieve all department KPIs
- Facilitate End User trainings during customer onboardings to increase product adoption
Qualifications
Education:- Bachelor’s degree in Technical or Business discipline
- 2 + years of experience working in a Software or Technology Company
- Working knowledge of project management processes and ability to utilize templates for execution of projects
- Intermediate analytical, problem-solving, organization and multitasking skills
- Customer service skills including active listening, composure, and empathy
- Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Basic knowledge of Networking/Infrastructure
- Working knowledge of electronic health records (HER) system and Hospital Workflows
- Basic Experience with extract, transfer, load (ETL) processes and common data source formats
- Intermediate understanding of CRM & Project Management tools such as Salesforce
