Job Summary:
Provide scientific, engineering, and technical management assistance to the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), Office for Science and Technology (ST), Rapid Engineering Prototyping Division (REPD) on-site support at Cape Canaveral SFS Florida. Prepares and presents project status reporting to ATI-7 leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as project coordinator; acts as primary liaison between government leadership, PMs and technical staff.
- Work closely with ZelTech Project Manager to ensure projects are coordinated between departments and progress, issues and resolutions are communicated to all stakeholders.
- Coordinate the activities with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Provide organizational level management of project and operational activities and status reporting to synchronize and enhance mission readiness.
- Organize, attend, and participate in stakeholder meetings.
- Work with the Project Manager to eliminate blockers.
- Gather information about clients’ needs and goals for projects and present options that may meet those needs.
- Ensure stakeholder views are managed towards the best solution.
- Document and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
- Undertake project tasks as required.
- Prepare necessary presentation materials for meetings and providing administrative support as needed.
- Provide project advice to government project management staff, prepare and/or review technical summaries, reports and scientific/engineering presentations, data and graphics to be presented.
- Track and provide status reports of routine and ad hoc tasking to include but not limited to official tasking from higher headquarters, RFIs from other organizations and white paper evaluations.
- Comply with CCSFS industrial hygiene requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned to accomplish the ATl-7 mission.
Requirements:
- Must be a legal US citizen.
- Active Top-Secret/SCI with CI Poly.
- Proven work experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role.
- Experience managing relationships with staff and stakeholders in a fast pace and demanding environment.
- Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management.
- Experience preparing project summaries such as OV-1s.
- Knowledge of file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures.
- Direct experience working in a government environment.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Effective communicator (verbal and written).
- Ability to effectively manage time and resources.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Respond to inquiries from customers, management, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
- Ability to present relevant factors (both verbal and written) so that technical information is understood by non-technical end users.
Preferred Requirements:
- Background managing aeronautical projects related to UAS
- Degree in engineering mechanical or aeronautical engineer
- Six (6) or more years’ experience directly supporting scientific/engineering and the intelligence community.
- Knowledge of standard DoD acquisition regulations, practices, and procedures.
- Experience developing, tracking, and presenting performance metrics for GS-14 and higher government leadership.
- Experience in Risk Management processes.
- Good writing skills as may be a requirement to write reports.
