Technical Program Manager - VR/MR Product Interaction Experiences

As a Software Technical Program Manager at Meta Reality Labs, you will lead a cross-functional core team through the Software Development Process (from early concept phase to launch) to develop and launch industry-leading interaction experiences for Meta Quest VR/MR Products This is a highly visible role, requiring an experienced leader with demonstrated technical skills and business acumen; skilled at communicating with all levels of the company. • Develop software roadmaps based on product and technical requirements and business needs.
• Lead cross functional teams implementing the roadmap from early stage of development through launch. Lead launch/release activities as it pertains to software features and deliverables.
• Engage with cross-functional teams to identify constraints, dependencies, risks/issues, and to deliver software features.
• Work with teams to set milestones, communicate project statuses, and identify/address potential setbacks.
• Develop best practices and product development processes in a quickly-evolving environment.
• Coordinate and contribute to engineering deliverables including specifications and test plans.
• Work with user research and dogfooding teams and co-ordinate user feedback to improve user experience.
• Provide feedback and influence product design and UX.
• Ensure project documents are complete, current and available for staff and leadership review.
• Identify resources needed and work closely with the team leads to maintain full visibility of multiple projects, ensuring resource gaps are addressed efficiently.
• Up to 15% travel.

Minimum Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years experience as a Technical Program Manager or Software Product Manager managing software programs from inception to production.
• Experience launching consumer products or delivering large software releases.
• Experience developing software roadmaps for complex consumer products.
• Knowledge of program and issue tracking tools and software dashboards.
• Experience building and curating relationships and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of software development processes and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience delivering end-to-end user focused software experiences
• Familiarity with Virtual or Mixed Reality input and/or interaction modalities
