Azure Reliability team is a multidisciplinary engineering organization part of CXP dedicated to making, “Azure the safest and most reliable Cloud”. The Technical Program Manager, Manager on this team will lead our team in defining success providing knowledge to ensure collaboration and alignment on project management and successful delivery.

Azure Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams strive to improve reliability fundamentals via software engineering, preferring long-lasting platform improvements delivered as engineering projects over repetitive manual operations. We contribute to the product fundamentals and architecture, share knowledge, and code, and prefer reuse over re-invention, always looking for ways to make what we build useful to multiple teams and products.

Responsibilities

• Managers deliver success through empowerment and accountability by modeling, coaching, and caring
• Shares and defines insights, best practices, and standards that can be applied to improve system, platform, and/or product development and operations across the business.
• Expands end-to-end technical expertise in the architecture, code, features, operations and comprehensive use scenarios of products in order to drive continuous improvements
• Sets high standards for team deliverables and holds them accountable, with or without explicit authority.
• Utilize systems thinking to design and implement scalable operational processes that enhance efficiency, adaptability, and overall performance across the organization.
• Oversee the delivery of roadmaps, track project schedules, develop staging and implementation plans, and assist teams in leading Quality programs.
• Manage relationships and expectations with various business stakeholders across C&Al and beyond.
• Develop and contribute to processes, procedures, and tools that drive continuous improvements in execution.
