Join YAGEO Group’s global technical marketing team as a Technical Marketing Engineer, bridging market needs with the technical capabilities of our cutting-edge electronic components. You’ll create impactful content, collaborate across teams, and represent YAGEO Group at industry events, ensuring we remain the go-to solutions provider for design engineers worldwide.
One of the primary functions of a technical marketing engineer at YAGEO Group is to act as a translator between the needs of the market and the features of our products. Bringing a message of market relevance and position requires experience and understanding of the needs of our design engineering customers and the market forces that drive them to make decisions. The Technical Marketing Engineer will be focused on creating content, messaging, and experiences to keep YAGEO Group solutions as top-of-mind with our engineering audience and to enable their design success.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and follow technological market trends to ensure alignment and relevance of content
- Creation of content in support of the design engineering including application notes, white papers, blog posts, technical marketing collateral, digital assets, short clips, and videos
- Review, edit, and modify existing or submitted content and assets to adhere to the branding and technical standards typical of YAGEO Group content.
- Collaborate with external content creation suppliers to ensure successful deliver of content, this includes reviews for technical accuracy and messaging
- Prepare and review presentation materials
- Collaboration with the digital marketing team to identify key areas of content placement and interactions to enable growth of the marketing automation platform
- Participate in and support technical forums, industry events, and other speaking events and industry shows
- Participate in the coordination and logistical execution of US technical events
- Collaborate with other members of the technical marketing department and YAGEO Group with the goal of producing compelling content and experiences for YAGEO Group
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Circuit design and validation experience
- Analog, power, and digital design experience
- Experience with DC/DC, AC/DC, and inverter topologies
- Exceptional writing, presenting, and speaking skills are necessary
- Experience with content management systems like WordPress and Adobe are desirable
- Ability to create elaborate, engaging content from concise source material
- Excellent skills with the MS Office suite specifically advanced PowerPoint capability
- Video editing experience a plus
- Familiar with Wrike a plus
- Ability to remain in a stationary position (seated/standing) for extended periods
