Technical Intern

What you will do

Johnson Controls invites you to apply for an internship located in the York Pennsylvania at two facilities (New Freedom and Emigsville). This internship is designed to provide you with a positive work/training experience and challenging objectives. Specific identified internship responsibilities are outlined below.

How you will do it:

· Assist in Warranty Return Center (WRC) failure analysis review process including RMA receiving and shipping, parts analysis and teardown, report generation, and organization of WRC SharePoint site.

· Assist Product Technical Support Engineers with Salesforce, email, voicemail, and call tree product technical support requests from field service technicians

· Review and trend data on call tree metrics and develop automated process for data extraction and report or graphical representation using Tableau, Power BI, or Excel.

· Support direct field requests for information on historical chiller configuration and design operational data.

Duration: This will be a part-time position during the fall and spring semesters and full-time during the summer

What we look for

Required Qualifications:

· Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university

· Pursuing a degree in engineering

· 40 hr/week requirement in the summer, 10+ hr/week during each semester

· U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Demonstrates an ability to learn quickly and independently.

· Strong communication skills (verbal and written) preferred

· Demonstrated problem solving skills required
