About the Technical General Manager Position:

We are looking for a "Technical General Manager" to lead our foundational connectivity and software platform organizations. Even though this is a very technical role, we would like someone who has good product acumen, with the ability to drive key strategic decisions. The ideal individual is “right a lot” and has good instincts about balancing long term & short term impact to the business. He/she will be as equally skilled at magnifying leverage with effective organizational design as finding bottlenecks in a technical design review.

What You'll Need:

• 15+ years of experience in software development field with a good mix of early stage (0 to 1) and later stage (1 to n) product development 
• 8+ years of software leadership experience with at least 4+ years managing managers
• Experience driving Product strategy/direction 
• Great track record of delivering high quality software solutions during hyper growth 
• Solid understanding of lean and agile software development practices
• Strong grasp of cloud native and distributed software development principles
• Deep product understanding and business acumen. Can set vision, strategy in alignment with the organization and execute on corresponding goals. 
• Good understanding of “soup to nuts” of end to end software development life cycle
• Ability to attract top talent and grow people within the organization
• Strong in operational excellence and a data informed decision maker

​Bonus Points:

• Experience working in multi-sided marketplaces and have prior supply chain experience
