Technical Engineering Data AnalystWhat does a successful Technical Engineering Data Analyst do at Fiserv?
As a Technical Engineering Data Analyst at Fiserv, you will play a crucial role in organizing and prioritizing preventative maintenance program for our technical engineering team. You will leverage your analytical skills to transform data into actionable insights, contributing to the enhancement of preventive maintenance schedules and overall equipment productivity. You will be part of a team that is committed to optimizing operational efficiency and ensuring that our manufacturing processes run smoothly. Your ability to meticulously analyze data, identify trends, and implement data-driven solutions will be key to your success in this role.
What you will do:
- Analyze maintenance data to identify patterns and recommend improvements in processes and preventive maintenance scheduling.
- Develop and maintain dashboards to monitor work progress and efficiency.
- Collaborate with technical engineers to prioritize maintenance tasks based on data-driven insights.
- Utilize data to recommend preventative and daily maintenance activities to minimize equipment downtime.
- Generate detailed reports on maintenance performance and present findings to management.
- Support the creation and implementation of strategies for more effective data collection and analysis.
What you will need to have:
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, including database management, SQL or use of data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience.
What would be great to have:
- Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and statistical modeling.
- Background in working within a maintenance or production environment.
- Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software.
- Familiarity with machine learning techniques applied to maintenance and reliability.
- Certification in data analytics or a related field.
