What You'll Do:
We are looking for an exceptionally talent in Technical Engineer - Process Automation & Control to join us as a Subject Matter Expert. You will directly impact our innovation of our Process Automation and Controls by driving best in class solutions to meet rigorous internal standards and compliance requirement for projects across our Deer Park, TX facility.
What We're Looking For:
- Excellent technical acumen with Process Automation & Control technologies and their application in industrial settings.
- Technical leadership with Emerson DeltaV Process Control systems.
- Oversee the installation configuration, and integration of automation/process control, and systems through commissioning and handover.
- Demonstrate a safety conscious mindset.
- Extensive expertise with programming languages including developing control narratives, graphics, technical specifications, testing, and documentation.
- Specify and source components/equipment/instruments/sensors, materials for our projects keeping safety as a priority.
- Lead the Safety Integrated Systems (SIS) development and integration in capital projects.
- Design and develop control systems using DCS, PLCS, SCADA, HMI and other technologies.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement safety protocols.
- Participate in Process Hazard Analysis(PHA) and convert findings to actionable items.
- Collaborate and Communicate with our cross functional project teams while acting as consultant and technical leader with our staff, DCS technicians, vendors and contractors to ensure successful project delivery.
- Be a subject matter expert for Automation & Process Control for internal and external forums. .
- Coach and train others.<
