Scope & Responsibilities:

• Architect enterprise-level solutions within Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and strategize the migration path to Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Lead the transition of services, including Kubernetes workloads, serverless applications, and databases from GCP to AWS.
• Design and implement highly scalable, resilient, and secure cloud-native applications, incorporating microservices and serverless architectures.
• Ensure seamless migration and integration of our tech stack, including Node.js, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Elastic Cloud, Redis, Pub/Sub, and cloud storage solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess migration readiness, perform risk assessments, and execute migration plans with minimal downtime.
• Optimize cloud resource utilization and cost efficiency during and after migration.
• Stay updated on both GCP and AWS best practices and new services to continually evolve our cloud strategy and infrastructure.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience with both GCP and AWS.
• Certified in both GCP and AWS.
• Must have experience with platform-to-platform migration.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing solutions for GCP and AWS.
• Solid understanding of containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes, including GKE and equivalent AWS services.
• Hands-on experience with database migration, including PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases like MongoDB, from GCP to AWS.
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and integrating monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
• Strong experience with front-end technologies, particularly React, and familiarity with supporting services like Freshdesk, Pendo, and DevOps integrations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with cloud networking, CDN, load balancing, and VPN setup on GCP and AWS.
• Ability to guide the transformation of services like Boomi to native API solutions within AWS.
