Position Title:                Technical Applications Trainer

Salary:                          $96,921 - $133,820 / year

Hours:                          Monday – Friday, 9:00 am to 5pm

Summary of Duties:       Conducts individual and group technical training courses and activities for customer service employees and if needed customers. Delivers engaging trainings to stimulate student participation during online training sessions and remains dynamic during in person delivery sessions. Identifies customers’ needs to ensure training materials are designed to reflect NAM regional needs. Evaluates and obtains training programs and materials from global development team or external vendors. Collaborates with the development team to complete the development of new course materials. Prepares training equipment, room, and resources are ready to deliver training courses. Performs trainings, organizes and supervises trainings services for internal customers. Continuously reviews participant feedback and modifies/revises delivery style or course materials as needed to improve student knowledge retention and application. May provide technical support in case of complaints to improve product documentation and communication to the field and customers. Creates impactful processes to improve efficiency, reliability, and accountability of training resources to drive positive outcomes. 20% domestic and international travel.

Qualifications:               The position requires a Bachelor’s in Medical Technology, Biological Sciences, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or an acceptable alternate occupation. Alternatly will accept a Master’s degree and three (3) years of experience. The position requires experience with the following skills: Experience providing instruction to laboratory staff on standard operating procedures, workflows, and laboratory operations. Three (3) years of experience with Siemens Chemistry and Immunoassay laboratory products, including the Atellica Solution and Advia Chemistry instruments, and associated procedures for operation, configuration, and troubleshooting. Three (3) years of experience with Siemens Hemostasis or Hematology laboratory products including Sysmex CS2x00 instruments and associated procedures for operation, configuration, and troubleshooting. Two (2) years of experience creating and delivering training content using Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, and Microsoft Forms. Two (2) years of experience delivering dynamic engaging instructor-led and virtual/remote technical training. Two (2) years of experience evaluating training outcomes and conducting learner assessments. Demonstrated experience communicating and gaining alignment with cross-functional teams and directly with customers. Ability to design new course materials and implement changes as needed.
