Technical Application Specialist | Kinetic

Transform software and data issues into solutions! As a Technical Application Specialist, you will diagnose, troubleshoot, and document core software and data issues. You will also create customer-facing knowledge documentation. We are seeking applicants with strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

What you will be doing:

• Provide excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, and communicate and collaborate with peers, customers, and upper management.
• Respond to situations where standard procedures have failed to isolate or correct system or software failures, using customer-centric interpersonal skills and providing product knowledge.
• Stay up-to-date with software updates and changes to provide timely and accurate solutions to customers.
• Create customer-facing and internal knowledge documents.
• Address concerns brought up by other departments such as customer experience or sales.

What you will likely bring:

• 3+ years of applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge.
• Manufacturing industry knowledge/experience.
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in a support environment with high call volumes desired.

What could set you apart:

• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL, ERP applications or analytical tools.
• Knowledge of financial, manufacturing, retail or distribution business processes.
