Technical Analyst II installs, maintains and supports enterprise computer hardware and software.
Install maintain and support enterprise resources, including laptops, desktops, tablets, mobile phones, and other network-enabled devices.Research, diagnose and resolve Tier II problems requiring extensive analysis, application of multiple technical skills in desktop operating systems, applications, hardware, network connectivityWork closely with Product and Project Teams to gain understanding of and provide support for new hardware, software or peripheralsConduct training and creates documentation for Service Desk and other support teams on new hardware or software being rolled out to the enterpriseInstall new and updated software onto end-user systems through automated scripting; performs quality check on individual systemsPerform vulnerability testing, risk analyses and security assessmentsConfigure and support security tools, including, but not limited to, firewalls, anti-virus software and patch management systemsAnalyze service and system reports; perform problem isolationProvide on-call support for escalated production issues on a rotating scheduleAssist employees, vendors or other customers by answering questions related to desktop support procedures and servicesPerform installations, adds, moves, and changes for PCs, monitors, printers and related peripheralsComplete work in a timely and accurate manner while providing exceptional customer serviceResolve customer technology incidents and requests in a timely manner to comply with Service Level Agreements.Provisioning user accounts across multiple systems including, but not limited to: Office 365, Active Directory, etc.Follow Incident Management Procedures and assists with Customer Communication for High Priority issues affecting the enterpriseOther duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • This position requires a minimum of three year's desktop support experience with at least one year technical analyst experience.
  • One year Windows or Linux server administration is required.
  • Proven expertise troubleshooting Windows, iOS, desktop devices is required along with the ability to quickly grasp technical concepts.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate across all levels of the organization is necessary; ability to clearly articulate technical ideas to a non-technical audience both verbally and in writing is required.
  • This position requires strong interpersonal and customer service skills along with excellent written and verbal communication. skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team is vital.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure, meet deadlines and present a professional demeanor is essential.
  • Ability to respond to different organizational situations while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude is necessary.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities effectively in high-pressure situations is required.
  • Maintaining confidentiality, treating others with respect and upholding Company values are key attributes.
  • In addition, organizational and problem solving skills, a can-do attitude, and the ability to adjust to changing requirements are essential.

Educational Requirements:

  • This position requires an associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related technical field or equivalent work experience.
